Easily accessible Pinecrest Lake is a popular spot with a lot of opportunities such as hiking and fishing year-round and swimming, boating (boat rentals available) or just basking in the sunshine during the summer. Hint: Arrive early in the day on summer weekends.
With winter comes snow and with snow comes skiing and snowboarding at Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort and snow tubing at Leland High Sierra Snowplay. Plus, cross-country ski and snowshoe trails provide for more backcountry experiences. Ice skating is available at Long Barn Lodge Ice Rink.
