New York City
Welcome to the Big Apple. New York City has something for everyone... with museums, galleries, theatre, world famous restaurants and shops and not to mention some of the most dazzling sights in the world there's plenty for culture buffs, partygoers and shopaholics alike to do. Times Square is the centre of New York City's shopping and entertainment district. This is where you will find the Broadway theatres, the most famous stage shows in the world and the prestigious Metropolitan Opera. There's landmarks everywhere you look including the world famous Empire State Building, with its incredible panoramic views, the Chrysler Building, the site of the former World Trade Center and Central Park, which has appeared in many films and television shows. New York City is home of some of the world's most famous art galleries including the Guggenheim, Noma and the Metropolitan. From Manhattan take a trip on the Staten Island ferry for an up-close view of the Statue of Liberty or take a tour out to one of the 5 boroughs that make up this exciting city.

Day 4
New York City to Washington, DC
Today it is time to say goodbye to New York City and hello to Washington, DC. Your journey by Amtrak train included in the package price below takes just under 3.5 hours, The Amtrak Northeast Regional service departs conveniently from New York's Penn Station in midtown Manhattan between 8th Ave. & 33rd Street and arrives into Washington's Union Station again conveniently located in the heart of the city on Massachusetts Avenue. Trains depart throughout the day so you can choose a time convenient to your requirements at time of booking with us.

Washington, DC
Welcome to America’s capital city. Even though the US has no monarchy, Washington still has majesty — and great nightlife. Check out some of the great pubs in Georgetown! Tour Washington’s mighty monuments, and of course, its world famous museums. The Smithsonian Institution is unbeatable, with museums dedicated to the history and cultural of African Americans, Native Americans, and general American history. Directly across the Potomac River from Washington, DC lies Fairfax County, home to The Smithsonian’s Udvar-Hazy Air and Space museum. See the Space Shuttle Discovery, the Concorde and hundreds of other aircraft.
